George Carey (ice hockey)

George William Carey (November 4, 1892 – December 31, 1974) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger. He was born in Montreal, Quebec to Scottish parents.〔"Quebec Births for George William Carey, born November 4, 1892 in Montreal to Charles William and Martha Outram Carey, of Scotland〕 He first played for Quebec Bulldogs in National Hockey Association winning the Stanley Cup in 1912. He later played 5 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Quebec Bulldogs, Hamilton Tigers and Toronto St. Pats. He died in 1974 and was buried at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto.〔"Prospect Cemetery Records.", Mount Pleasant Group, Toronto〕
